The Sunset Cafe was one of two beloved downtown Blowing Rock businesses lost to time and replaced by new structures — the other being Sonny's Grill, also fortunately painted before its demise. A popular ice cream and hot dog stand that was always booming during the summer months, the Sunset Cafe lives on in this watercolor giclée as a warm reminder of simpler days on the main street of the village.
