One of the best memories of childhood is fishing for sunfish from a lake dock. Even then, the brilliant scarlet of their belly offset by blue-greens was fascinating. This piece was completed using the saturated wet technique learned from Cheng Khee Chee — a process that captures the luminous, jewel-like quality of these beautiful little fish.
